Norwegian Travel Company is one of the leading tour operators in Norway. Our goal is to set the standard for experience-based tourism in Norway, and our Tromsø office is now looking for an Operations Coordinator to be part of this journey.
Operations Coordinator – Responsibilities
You will work closely with administration and management, and assist all our sub brands. You are an important piece of our operational team, where planning, coordination and execution are part of the general workday.
In this position you’ll be involved in a lot of different tasks. One day there may be work in regards to zoning and fire plans, other days you’ll deal with HSE, operational support and various operational tasks. You’ll need a high level og flexibility and ability to adapt quickly, and you face challenges head on.
You will be responsible for various administrative tasks for different departments, and be the contact person for a range of suppliers and projects. You will also work closely with our other companies around Norway.

You are a strong team player who likes working with people, and you are an outgoing and social person. You enjoy a varied line of work where things may not always be planned in advance. As a pragmatic individual you like to solve challenges and you take it upon yourself to find a solution.
You are organised, structured and used to juggling several tasks at once.
According to your mindset, any problem can be solved – which is something that suits us perfectly.
With excellent communication skills, you have no problem getting by in English and your Norwegian is fluent, both written and oral.
- You have experience with administrative and operational work, preferably in tourism or hospitality.
- You know how to organise and coordinate operational work
- You have decent experience with IT systems and know how to get the most out of these. You also know Excel.
