Cross-country skiing is Norway’s national sport and something most Norwegians love to do. You have maybe heard the saying "Norwegians are born with their skis on their feet"? In many cases this isn't far from the truth.
The tour starts in Tromsø, with a 50-minutes' drive to Lyngsfjordeid, where our basecamp is located. We will begin the activity by teaching you some basic techniques; how to get started, how to put your skis on, how to fall and then how to get back on your skis. The sport is a great way to exercise and once you get the hang of it, you’ll feel a sense of satisfaction. This tour is appropriate for both beginners and intermediates.
In addition, at the camp we have 84 friendly Alaskan huskies that love to interact and meet new people. Each of them with their own name and personality. They love to cuddle, so don’t be afraid to give them a hug or two.
