Husky Wagon
Our Alaskan huskies love to run and they go all winter. In summertime, when it is too warm to run, they like to chill out and relax after the hectic winter season.
Luckily, summers in Kirkenes are often cool, so we have the chance to give them exercise and train them for the upcoming winter.
Our guide will pick you up at your hotel, and drive you to Snowhotel 365 camp in Sandnesdalen, 15 minutes from Kirkenes.
Arriving at the Snowhotel camp, you will get the chance to meet our both our reindeer and of course our Alaska huskies. You get your own pack of huskies and a musher to drive you around in a scenic area by the fjord.
On this tour, you will ride in a husky wagon driven by our experienced musher, along the scenic fjord.
We will make several stops to check on dogs, give them water when needed and enjoy the beautiful area.
And yes, there will also be plenty of time to cuddle!
After the tour our driver will take you back to Kirkenes.

What to bring or wear
Dress according to the season and in layers so you can adjust your clothing to the weather conditions.
Good to know
- Huskies can not run in too high temperatures. If it is warmer than 12-13°, and/or strong sun, then the trip may be cancelled, and we may offer a mountain hike with husky instead.
