From its invention, the snowmobile has been as important as the car in northern Scandinavia and Kirkenes. Riding a snowmobile can be challenging, but with professional guides and new environmental-friendly skidoos you will be perfectly safe on the snowmobile safari and at the same time you will have FUN!
You don’t need any earlier experience of snowmobile driving – we will teach you!
This 2-hour adventure is a great and unforgettable experience through the magical landscape above the arctic circle. This is a fantastic activity choice if you are looking for some adrenaline and action during your stay in Kirkenes and want to try something new and exciting.
Before turning on the engine, you will be introduced with a short briefing on how to safely operate the snowmobiles and provided with necessary safety equipment and clothing to keep you warm and comfortable during your adventure.
The snowmobile is shared between two people - one driver, who's in control of the snowmobile, and one passenger who gets to sit and admire the beautiful view around. You can always switch seats during the tour and try both options!

- You need to be minimum 18 years old and hold a valid driver's license to operate a snowmobile.
- Passengers needs to be minimum 10 years old.
- Each Child must be accompanied by an adult.
What to bring or wear
Dress according to the season and in layers so you can adjust your clothing to the weather conditions. A thermal suit and warm shoes will be provided.
